How the math works
Concentration is vial strength divided by the diluent volume. Draw volume is the target dose divided by concentration. A U-100 insulin syringe marks 100 units per millilitre, so units equal millilitres multiplied by 100. Adding more water never changes total peptide mass — only how many syringe marks each dose occupies, which makes small doses easier to measure accurately.
